SONSIEL has been an Associate Member of CoNGO since 2019. That affiliation provides pathways into a broad international civil-society ecosystem connected to the United Nations and its global agendas.
SONSIEL is an independent nonprofit organization and an Associate Member of CoNGO. This is distinct from ECOSOC consultative status and does not make SONSIEL an agency, office or entity of the United Nations.

SONSIEL enters the global arena.
During its founding year, SONSIEL made its first visit to United Nations Headquarters and established its formal affiliation with CoNGO.

SONSIEL launched the SHARE Program in response to critical PPE shortages during COVID-19, mobilizing cross-sector support for nurses and frontline healthcare workers.

Recommendations were submitted to the WHO Department of Data, Digital Health and AI stakeholder consultation informing the next global strategy.
STI Forum for the SDGs
SONSIEL received special accreditation for participation in the Science, Technology and Innovation Forum for the Sustainable Development Goals.
International Migration Review Forum
Special accreditation expanded SONSIEL's engagement around migration, workforce mobility and displacement.

SONSIEL submitted civil-society questions for the interactive dialogues with candidates for United Nations Secretary-General.
