WHY NURSING

Global decisions become local realities.

Nurses understand where policy, technology, migration, climate and health-system decisions become real: in care, communities and people's lives.

01 / PROXIMITY

Nurses see what systems miss.

Nursing's proximity to people and communities creates insight into how global challenges translate into lived experience.

02 / SCIENCE

Nursing brings evidence.

Nurse scientists connect clinical expertise, population health, implementation science and human-centered knowledge.

03 / INNOVATION

Nurses build solutions.

The people closest to problems should also have the tools, resources and voice to design what comes next.

04 / DIPLOMACY

Health crosses borders.

Global health demands leaders who can translate evidence, culture, lived experience and systems across boundaries.

05 / EQUITY

Representation changes outcomes.

Policy is stronger when the workforce implementing it and the communities affected by it are represented.

06 / ACTION

Global learning must return home.

International engagement matters most when knowledge and relationships lead to local action.
